First, your goals are identified. If WBS can help you achieve them, it will make your goals its own.
Hence, Your Goal Mine.
Second, WBS’s role is identified. Together, you and WBS will identify which service(s) you would like WBS to provide.
Third, WBS executes its assigned tasks, with your active participation.
The success of WBS’s project(s) will be directly related to your commitment to, and involvement with, WBS's efforts.
And last, because WBS’s output is knowledge and/or a “system” designed with your input,
WBS will transfer any remaining knowledge, by documenting procedures and training you or your staff.
By project's end, all knowledge acquired by WBS about your project(s) will be yours, and WBS, once indispensable,
will be replaced by systems that you will be managing. You will have achieved, or have the systems in place
to achieve, your goals.
